Plants for sale are ready for transfer to a 3" to 4" pot for retail if you're selling small plants or you finish or grow it further to maturity if you're selling larger or flowering plants. Musa or bananas as they are commonly known, come in a wide array of choices: dessert, cooking bananas, plantains, ornamental foliage and ornamental flowering. there are many wonderful varieties to choose from, whether you are looking for a Chiquita type banana or an exotic collectables. these plants are suitable for all climates given appropriate care. They can be grown in decorative containers or in the landscape to give any place a tropical feel. Most varieties are grown best in a uniformly warm environment but some varieties can take colder climates. Bananas are fast growers, heavy feeders and drinkers.
